About the Immigration Judge

Then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions appointed Lindsy M. Roberts to begin hearing cases in November 2018. Judge Roberts earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2000 from Washington and Jefferson College and a Juris Doctor in 2003 from the Washington and Lee University School of Law. From 2015 to 2018, she served as an assistant U.S. attorney with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Nevada, Department of Justice, in Las Vegas. From 2004 to 2015, she was an associate attorney and principal attorney with Goodman, Allen & Filetti PLLC, in Norfolk, Virginia. Judge Roberts is a member of the Virginia State Bar.

    Lindsy is one of the most patient judges in the Las Vegas Immigration Court. She is polite, fair, and very nice to understand ignorant people regarding the law. Lindsy has demonstrated to have knowledge of the law and is interested in helping immigrants with their cases. Hope she keeps up her good work.
