My husband and I truly thought judge Bianca H Brown would be fair. By the questions she asked. And she seemed like she actually was reviewing everything carefully, definitely fooled us, when final court hearing came. She showed to have a different agenda, only confirmed that there is no justice in my country by denying my husband’s credible fear. Is he supposed to be bleeding, missing parts of his body or almost dead to be approved? My husband has been getting harrased, always in his birth country by corrupted police. And even though she also was aware of my health and our kids health and mental health, and how this whole situation has been, and now thanks to her misjudgement, still an ongoing trauma and nightmare having my family apart. Even after reviewing our kids special education and their doctor notes and psychologist. My neurologist doctor’s note stating that to have my husband by my side due to my neurological health issues was a necessity, she still denied my husband’s credible fear and never even once looked at us. I made the mistake of having our oldest, our daughter present that last day, because we honestly thought the judge would be releasing my husband, I was truly hopeful that a judge, Bianca H Brown would finally give my husband justice. But instead judge Bianca H Brown, suggested for my husband to be deported back and “thinks”he could try living in another part, which we have. And corruption police has spreaded more along with gang members coming form El Salvador and Guatemala trying to implement same laws as a Salvador now, which by the way expert also shared that, so they were all aware as well. We aren’t rich, we still don’t make much money. Eventhough there was also a witness expert, who is a professional that also works closely with the Army as an advisor, someone who has studied the gang violence and corruption stating facts and expressing what he also learned in my husband’s birth country and after even myself testifying, she only showed us that there is no justice. My husband was physically aggravated by 15 police officers last year in 2022 at the front of our door. The last most recent thing why he had to flee his country was because 30+ cops broke the front door and broke inside our home and broke everything, without a warrant, they always tell him to stay inside home if he doesn’t want them messing with him. This has happened with police all over my husband’s birth country because we have tried before living elsewhere. And our family’s life was threaten in 2013 that is why we made the decision of the kids and I come back to U.S. because when we reported it to authorities in my husband’s corrupted country, they also failed to help, support and protect us, and we had evidence as well. Truly disappointed on my own country that clearly does not give a damn about my kids nor myself, I am an American born citizen and our kids are American citizens as well. After judge Bianca H Brown giving her misjudgment, she still had the audacity to wish our family well and good luck!! Are you kidding me? No justice and No peace. We have two kids our oldest having health complicated issues due to missing her Dad and our son is on the autism spectrum, and has special needs and requires constant supervision, And also misses his Dad. I am here on my own, not because we want to but for safety. We need my husband safe and alive! Both our kids receive a special education. So after reviewing our health notes and letters even from our daughter asking to please release her Dad, judge Bianca H Brown only still wishes us the best. How disrespectful and saddening. My family is still apart. And if anything were to happen to my husband, if he is deported back to his corrupted country then sadly, what is sticking with my oldest, my husband and myself, his wife, is how judge Bianca H Brown decided not to do a damn thing to help our family. Even when knowing my husband’s life is truly in danger. This is real, this is our lives, my husband’s life is at risk and in danger, police are now breaking into our home, without a warrant!! Corrupted police disappear people all the time in Guatemala, I know because I have lived there and also have been present when my husband has been physically aggravated by police and military officers. I fear loosing my husband and my kids their Dad. Since I got back to my country we have tried to bring him home safe to us the legal way, until police took is as far as now breaking into our home without a warrant, and no one listens if you report it. Because the corrupted police is considered the law, therefor my husband is stuck with their discrimination, aggression, and disrespect. Judge Bianca H Brown falls with the most that unfortunately simply don’t care nor bother or help to support in any way. I agree with the person stating truly an immigrants nightmare. What a shame portraying as if she cared, she should’ve stayed as an attorney instead, because that’s the type of judge at the end she is, one sided. One that fails to do justice, ready to deport immigrants truly scared, running for their life from their birth country. My husband didn’t do anything wrong but running for his life, trying to make it to safety to his family, our two kids and his wife, myself. This was our terrible and saddening experience in judge Bianca H Brown’s courtroom. Good luck and stay hopeful, if you have her. And just keep seeking for justice. You can always appeal. Like we had to do now too, more money and both our kids are sick. I wish they would at least release my husband while still in trial, like others, so he could come and help me work and pay off all these bills from our sons tuition based school, special education attorney, his own immigration attorney fees and what we have to continue fighting, and to help with our kids doctors appointment, nothing is free. I still hold hope and praying that appeal goes in favor of my husband. I just don’t know how much more my family can take, we are heartbroken and just want to be together and in safety.

I was always told some very scary stories about immigration courts and immigration judges. Judge Brown through her diligence and fairness has allowed me to realize that it may not be so. Judge Brown’s court is built on fairness and even when she rules against you she exercises the greatest grace that allows you to feel heard. I represented myself and she ensured that my rights were observed and that I understood everything that was happening. May other judges take a leaf out of her book so that they may add and preserve the dignity and integrity of the Bench. May God continues to bless her, her family and her career and may she be elevated to the highest level because that is where she belongs.
